Community Engagement & Belonging (CEB) Program
Starting a new life in a different country — or navigating the refugee process — can be overwhelming and isolating. The Community Engagement & Belonging (CEB) Program is a space where LGBTQIA+ refugees and newcomers can take a breath, reconnect with themselves, and reclaim joy.
Here, community isn’t just about support — it’s about laughter, celebration, creativity, and building meaningful relationships through shared experiences.
CEB creates inclusive, welcoming spaces where LGBTQIA+ individuals can connect, learn, and take part in community life. Through weekly gatherings, cultural events, educational workshops, and peer-led groups, the program helps reduce isolation and offers opportunities for healing, growth, and belonging.
The CEB Program is for LGBTQIA+ individuals who:
- • Are undocumented or living in Canada with limited or uncertain immigration status due to forced displacement
